If there really is such a thing as "normal", I think we have achieved it here. Overall, the kids are doing really well. We have some issues with KK, but they will either work themselves out or she will have to move. I think she is going to try and work it out here for a while longer, but I am not sure how well that is going to work or for how long without some other help. MB is doing great in cheerleading-she really has a natural talent for it. I think after Upwards is over, I am going to enroll her in an actual cheerleading class. Of course, if her behavior and grades continue to be like they have been this week, there is no way I am enrolling her. She was making really poor choices and being very annoying to the rest of the girls last week (but not anymore than any other nine year old girl with older sisters), but then I caught her eating candy in bed. By this time, I was ready to loose it with her. However, now that she knows she can take a cheerleading class, I think it will motivate her to do what she is supposed to do. SS and MS started drivers education today. I am a little nervous about that one. Thank goodness I am not the one who has to clock all those hours of behind the wheel with them! MS also moved up a level and has earned the right to have more privileges. MR continues to shine. She had her 14th birthday last week and still amazes me at how mature she really is. SM if out of her walking boot and can particapte fully in life again. Her blood sugars have been very high this past 6 weeks so we are going to focus on getting them back under control. KR was able to see one of her brother's that she does not see often this past weekend and it has really improved her attitude. LF is doing well in track, but I am afraid we may have to pull her out because of scoliosis. I really hope we don't because she is really good and has been doing so well in every area since she started. It think it would really crush her not to be able to participate. So, like I said, life is very normal here and that is a great place to be.
Sorry it has been so long since I updated, but somedays I just feel like the things going on don't really need to be noted. Thanks for faithfully checking in, though.

It still amazes me how you can keep up with the lives of 8 people simultaneously. But then I think, why am I surprised? You have always been very good at that. Glad things are going well. I'll try to write you again as soon as I can. Scott really enjoyed his dinner with you and while in Amarillo.
