My One Hundred

Okay, here it is. My One Hundred. Dang, this was hard!

1. I was born in Laredo, Texas
2. I grew up in Austin, Texas
3. I was raised in the church of Christ
4. I was a HUGE tomboy for a L-O-N-G time.
5. I attended the same school 4th-12th grade.
6. I graduated 6th in my class. Cool, huh?
7. Should I mention that I graduated with 11 other people in my class.
8. There were 365 people in my school the year I graduated.
9. My nephew and niece are now going to that same school.
10. I was manager for the volleyball team in high school so that I could keep my grades high enough to play basketball.
11. Our PE teacher was my first crush
12. I played second clarinet in band from 7th-11th grade
13. My senior year I played 1st Bass Clarinet
14. My band director had to rewrite many parts for me to be able to play in the band that year.
15. Much to my English teacher’s dismay, I was on the newspaper staff at my high school.
16. I have been to 8 countries
17. I have been on three international mission trips
18. I love Austin, but don’t think I could live there again
19. I bleed burnt orange. Hook ‘em Horns!
20. I played organized kickball for 12 years
21. I was a Lady Longhorn Shorthorn.
22. I have a friend I have known since I was six. We still talk.
23. My handwriting is horrible.
24. I am a good typist.
25. I have lived in at least five different states.
26. I am very loyal to my home state-TEXAS!
27. I have family in Kentucky, Texas and California.
28. I married one of the most amazing men.
29. I turned him down for a date the first four months I knew him.
30. I dated him for four years before getting married.
31. I was married at the Ponderosa Ranch in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. (Yes where Bonanza was filmed)
32. I had a shot gun at my wedding
33. I had wedding bells at my wedding
34. My wedding started late because the wagon broke down and the gun fight took too long.
35. I was married nine months before “having” kids.
36. I have “had” somewhere around sixty kids.
37. My youngest kid is seven.
38. My oldest kid is now 21.
39. I currently live in a house of girls.
40. I have one dog named Sadie.
41. I had a beagle named Brooke, but he belongs to my father-in-law
42. I have good in-laws.
43. I love and miss all my nieces and nephews.
44. I love and miss my parents and sister.
45. In college, I worked for the men’s basketball team.
46. I have the best friends in the world
47. I miss my college friends.
48. I check my 6 email accounts at least three times a day.
49. I check my friend’s blogs at least once a day
50. I check my myspace at least twice a day.
51. I do psychotherapy transcription work during my “down” time.
52. I have an inborn love of basketball
53. I have an inborn desire to watch Kentucky Wildcat Basketball
54. I have an inherited fear of lawnmowers.
55. I tell my husband just about everything.
56. I like to read.
57. I like to do puzzle books.
58. I like to play board games.
59. I like to play computer games.
60. I own a Gameboy SP and a few games.
61. I only wear my wedding ring and a cross necklace on a regular basis.
62. Every now and again, I will were a different necklace, depending on my outfit.
63. I only wear make up when I feel like I am having a bad complexion day.
64. I am 5’4” tall.
65. I weight much more than I should.
66. I have met BB King.
67. I have played basketball on the San Antonio’s Spurs Court.
68. I shoot a BowTech Diamond Rapture light bow.
69. I will go hunting for the first time ever in September.
70. I have only ever known one of my grandparents.
71. I miss my Uncle Bill, sister-in-law Staci, Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Wilson, Shannon, Nathan and Grandma Mac.
72. I never knew my father growing up.
73. I am just now blessed to get to know my brother.
74. I have broken both of my arms, almost at the same place.
75. My first youth minister had the exact same name as my real dad.
76. I think chocolate is the best dessert in the world.
77. I like dark chocolate better than any other kind.
78. Giraffes are my favorite animals.
79. I will try just about any new mint or gum there is.
80. I like to fish alone, but prefer to fish with my husband.
81. My birthday is 3-24-76
82. I went snow skiing for the first time at 30 years old.
83. I can still do a cartwheel.
84. I like to play pool.
85. I enjoy bowling and I am good at it.
86. I can drive a stick shift vehicle.
87. I have gone white water rafting three times.
88. I really enjoy going to amusement parks
89. I fall asleep usually within in the first hour of a trip, as long as I am not driving.
90. I like to listen to country music.
91. I like to listen to Christian music.
92. I prefer to listen to talk radio.
93. My favorite color is hunter green.
94. I can grease hair for African American kids.
95. I have over 55 giraffes in my collection.
96. I very rarely leave Wal-Mart without spending $75.00
97. I love to cook.
98. I cannot cook for less than 8 people.
99. I could eat breakfast three times a day.
100. I don’t ever talk about myself this much and I don’t like this.

I loved reading your "100"! It's so cool to learn new things about people...very fun..I might try it--we'll see!

I really enjoyed reading this! It made me quite thoughtful of back in the day. esp.:2,3,4,5,10,11(oh, how I remember 11),17,19,23,I could go on, but the "husband of my youth" is calling.

I am glad you both enjoyed reading "about me". Amy, Amy, Amy, I knew there was a reason we kept close. We both know WAY TOO MUCH about each other, huh?

Exactly. I can't have a bomb of knowledge like you walking around without keeping at least loose tabs on you. Imagine the fall-out!
