Okay, when she leaves that kind of bruise, I don't think she qualifies as a good phelbotomist. That being said, feel really bad that the two people to respond are the two people who have been poked and prodded WAY more than me. Thank you so much for the great empathy guys. whoa - that is pretty intense. I am not sure how to avoid the bruises but before i head in i rub emla cream on my arm. It numbs the skin so you cant feel any pain. www.ihateneedles.co.uk

Did you have a good phlebotomist? I have never bruised that bad, even one the phlebotomist that closed her eyes to find my vein and then stuck it.
