Jason got back fine from hunting on Sunday, October 30. He had a great time and looked very peaceful and happy. I am so glad he had that time in the mountains with God. He brought back the rack from the deer he shot as well as an elk leg and a deer leg. The guys from next door thought it was really cool. The girls weren't too impressed.
Monday, I decided at the last minute to take the girls trick or treating with the guys next door. They had a great time and now our house is full of candy!
I didn't mention it in my last post because I really didn't think it was a big deal, but Jason's paternal grandmother fell last week. After a few complications, we ended up loosing her on Thursday. This is ver difficult because it was completely unexpected and sudden. The funeral will be on the 9th in California. Jason and I will leave Monday to drive out there. It should take us about 18 hours. Please keep us in your prayers. The girls have been very sympathetic and understanding. I think they are little anxious about us giong away for a week, especially right after Jason was just gone for 10 days. The Home has been wonderfully supporitve, too.
We were supposed to go to Oklahoma City this weekend for OC's homecoming, but due to an 18 hour drive on Monday, it seems unresonable to drive 5 hours Saturday and 5 hours Sunday as well. The girls are disappointed, but I am going to try and make up for it somehow. I think we might plan a different trip later in the month or in December.
Well, that is about it. I hope and pray things are going well for you and your family.

BTW, I really enjoy your blog.
