AHHH!! Summer vacation is over! And while a few of my kids were glad to be going back to school, by the time they got home they had changed their minds. I think not! It is not that I don't like my kids- I do. But not having a set routine for the day is difficult. I have become very comfortable with routine and apparently I function much better than without. Who knew, right? Now, I just have to spend the next 3 days fighing other parents for school supplies for my 6 highschool kids. I really wish they would continue to do it like they do in elementary school-give a list out weeks before hand. That was really nice. I have had my youngest's one's backpack packed for a week now! Oh, well.
It poured rain for about 45 minutes right before church today. It was wonderful! We desperately need the rain. It did mean I had to sit through Oasis (our adult Bible class) with wet jeans.
