Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
Apparently, there were a lot of kid singing this song in the panhandle of Texas recently. Check this out! It has already snowed more in Amarillo today than it did all of last year!!! Amazing. And of course, school was cancelled. My kids were running through the house yelling "SNOW DAY!!!!" I cannot remember the last time I saw this much snow. It really is beautiful.

Chili is already on the menu for dinner. And yes, contrary to the rumor mill, it actually snows quite a bit in the panhandle of Texas/Oklahoma
I made chili, and then I put too much salt in it. I discovered a great web site called www.ochef.com where you can type in your cooking crisis and get help. Turns out, if you put a peeled and quartered potato in any over salted sauce for about twenty minutes it will soak up the salt. Not that you asked, but I thought you would like the site. Very helpful.
