Well, Christmas is finally over now. Jason bought me a few new toys! I am so excited! First he bought me a wireless keyboard and mouse, which means, right now, I am sitting in my recliner with my feet up, about three feet from my computer, typing this blog. Earlier today, I went and shot my new bow, A Diamnod Rapture Lite, which means little or nothing to most of you who read this blog. But, I love my new bow! I am shooting great! (This really wasn't a Christmas present, it was planned for a few months, it just happened to fall around Christmas) We had some wonderful person give us a few gift cards to Wal-Mart, allowing us to buy a new digital camera.
In other news, the kids had a great Christmas. The donors once again were extremly generous and kind to them. We ate ourselves silly and then aste some more.
I have started some transcription work and I am really enjoying it. Not to mention, my client is very happy with my turn around time. I think soon I will be doing most of the work out of their office.
We have a new set of houseparents on campus. They worked here a while back, moved out to Livermore, California (which is all of about 40 miles from where Jason's family is) and are now back. We have not met them yet, but will do that soon. From what I have heard, they will be a good fit here.
Cedric and Melanie stopped by on their way to Lubbock before Christmas. That was really cool. Their kids are really cute and getting so big! It is amazing.
Well, I hope everything is going well for eveyone. Sorry it has been so long since I posted. Maybe I will get better soon.
